As a gringo neophyte Yerba Mate drinker, I can appreciate having the right utensils and tools. My set came with a canister to store my raw Yerba Mate in. The lid has a quick dispense spout. I also received the gourd which is made of stainless steel and the straw which is designed specifically for the task of consuming mate - with small holes to filter out the stems and leaves.
