   This mate set is wonderful!
   
   My husband got home from visiting family in Argentina and I had this as a souvenir for him and he was so happy and loves it!
   
   It includes the canister for storing your Yerba and the bag fits inside or you could pour it inside the canister, it has a spout on top for easy pouring which is a bonus!
   
   The mate drinking cup is also very nice, very easy to clean without any worry or warping or molding like some mate do.
   
   The drinking straw is good and even includes a little brush for cleaning it.
   
   Overall the whole set is very well made and very handy, and the Messi tribute is a plus!

    I absolutely love the cup, I even like the container it was shipped in. The tin can serves as your Yerba keeper!! A big bonus. Everything you need is included even the Bonilla and a cleaning tool. All you need is your Yerba!!!

   I was first exposed to Yerba Mate about 34 years ago when I traveled to South America and passed through the Yerba Mate region of the world: Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. Recently, I was turned on to Yerba Mate and decided to give it a whirl. In addition to this kit, I also ordered a kilo of Rosamonte Special Selection Yerba Mate which is of the Argentine variety. I’m not going to go into the way the natives prepare it and how they use the gourd and straw set. But if you google it or go to u-tube, you will find lots of advice on the matter.As a gringo neophyte Yerba Mate drinker, I can appreciate having the right utensils and tools. My set came with a canister to store my raw Yerba Mate in. The lid has a quick dispense spout. I also received the gourd which is made of stainless steel and the straw which is designed specifically for the task of consuming mate - with small holes to filter out the stems and leaves.Overall, I’m pleased with the set and feel comfortable knowing that I’m consuming Yerba Mate in the correct way.    I found the straw to be of good quality - it doesn't come apart for cleaning, but the holes are very fine which is an improvement over my older one. The cup is well insulated and has a good capacity, though I wish it had a lid. The canister held a full container of mate and pours out nicely.Most importantly, as soon as I put it on the table an American guest at the table yelled MESI!! so it was recognized as intended, even by some non-Argentines.

   This is my first set of Yerba mate apparatus, but it works beautifully for me! I wanted to try it out because it seemed nice and peaceful and meditative.
