This is my first time trying Yerba Mate tea and I must say this has a strong taste to me. I drink coffee daily so didn't think much trying some tea but this one did have a slight kick for me. Not sure if it was this tea but definitely noticed more energy. This tea came contained in a tin canister that was securely packed. There is a large spout built into the top of the canister for ease of pouring the leaves out to steep. The leaves are fine with no visible stem parts.

I love the pour spout on the container. That makes pouring really easy. I have only noticed leaves and it seems to be a good quality. My only complaint is that despite being packaged in a durable cardboard cylinder, my tin arrived dented.

I got introduced to dinking Mate by my wife and I was looking for a whole set that could store the Yerba and had an insulated bottle that could retain the water heat for a long period of time. So far I got what I was looking for with this set. Beautiful aesthetically, but most importantly it works as it should. The mate (the cup) can be used as a traditional mate or with the included divider. The bombilla (metal straw) works great, the Yerba storing container works good too, although a little bigger for what I wanted, which is something portable.

While the mate is made out of metal, the heat doesn’t transfer to the outside. It is also very easy to clean.

In general, it is elegant, it can definitely make a great gift set too.

This is a "one stop shop" for your Yerba mate needs (you just supply the tea)
The thermos is premium and will keep your beverage hot or cold for several house.
the drinking gourd is really nice I would suggest using a straw with it.
It came with the necessary gadgets to make the perfect tea. The metal cannister has a pour spout so you can just close it once you are done with it...it will keep your tea mix air tight and dry.
The set came with a brush to clean the drinking gourd.
